How can I purchase a membership?

May I add someone to my membership who is not in my household?
Yes! Add to any membership admission one FREE admission for ONE additional guest each visit with the $25 GUEST OPTION.

How long is my membership valid?
Each membership is good for one full year.
|

What do I receive in my membership packet?
You will receive two personalized membership cards.

May I let a friend or family member borrow my membership card for admission?
No. Membership cards are only valid for the name(s) specified on the membership card. This is why we ask for a form of ID when checking in at the Visitor Center. Chattanooga Arboretum & Nature Center memberships are non-transferable.

When can I visit?
With a membership you can explore the property from dawn to dusk. After hours, park your car in the members’ parking lot and walk around the gate. Don’t forget to place your membership card on your dash—this identifies you as a CA&NC Member. During business hours, please check in at the Visitor Center with your membership card and ID to receive your admission sticker. Then enjoy!

What is the cost for parking?
Parking is FREE.

What does it cost to canoe Lookout Creek with a membership?
It’s absolutely FREE! Canoes, personal floatation devices and paddles are available for checkout during normal business hours.

May I bring a friend canoeing and use my guest pass?
No. The guest pass is valid only for admission to the Chattanooga Arboretum & Nature Center. Member guests, however, do receive a 40% discount off the standard canoe fees.

How will I know when it is time to renew my membership?
Your expiration date is listed on your membership card. You will also receive a new membership application in the mail about two weeks before your membership expires.
